Furballs Need Homes

The Monterey County SPCA is looking for homes for 51 adult cats after nursing them back to health. The cats were found after the SPCA discovered 113 dead kittens in two Seaside homes last month.

This story is a reminder to communities to help fund the local efforts of animal welfare organizations. Cases of animal seizure and rescue are frequently covered in the news however many urban animal welfare nonprofits take in and care for more animals than this each day.
