Suppenküche

Mein bauch ist voll! It may never occur to most vegans to dine at an authentic German restaurant, but I am not most vegans. After a day filled with running errands, drilling holes, hanging shelves, exchanging a television, washing the car, and visiting the Swedish cathedral of oddly named furniture, we were hungry.

Ms. Klünder craved the meats of her people, or rather half of her people, and it was decided, off to Suppenküche. So after a whirlwind of table sharing, dining companions drinking glass boots filled with beer, Ms. Klünder’s Spanferkelbraten und Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte, the world’s finest lentil soup und Reibekuchen with homemade apple sauce, all I can say is “Ich bin satt!”. Look it up, fill a Stein, and enjoy the clip below to have your own little taste of Bavaria (brings back memories of Oktoberfest 2001 in München). – PS don’t miss the incredibly relevant mash-up at 0:1:30.
